To celebrate Sam Smith's visit to our hometown of Manchester, we collaborated with influential artist Sara Sammakia to produce a unique BODA SKINS piece, just for him. The jacket features lyrics from One Last Song and in Sara’s trademark illustrative design, a bouquet of blue florals.
Sam Smith first hit the charts and onto the music scene in 2012, featuring on Disclosure’s breakthrough single ‘Latch’. Since then, we’ve loved following his rise to fame with hit after hit, including Money on My Mind, Stay With Me and the epic Bond theme Writing's On The Wall in 2015 .
After completing a short break from the limelight, he returned in 2017 with album The Thrill of It All, releasing the debut single Too Good at Goodbyes.
The song racked up millions of streams and went to number one in the UK singles charts. It was after the release of this album he announced his 2018 tour, headlining major cities across the globe.
The Thrill of It All World Tour is in full swing, taking him everywhere from New York, Zurich and Vienna, with Sam playing our native Manchester Arena in March.
This jacket is the first of an exclusive number of collaborations with Sara Sammakia, to produce hand painted, one off leather pieces personalised with bespoke artwork. This personalisation service will soon be available to all BODA SKINS customers, an exciting new offering which will enable clients to own a wearable, unique piece of art.
